Based on its own research, which found that one in five companies do not have an eyecare policy for their staff, Specsavers Corporate Eyecare has produced a free guide to the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992.
According to the company, the guide explains the details of the DSE Regs, and clarifies to whom they apply, and under what circumstances. It also covers requirements for eye tests, and provision of glasses.
Its survey of 102 company heads earlier this year revealed that employers and employees alike still don’t fully understand the Regulations, and their implications.
