Learning opportunities increased by new centre

GTG Edinburgh Exterior Picture DayA purpose-built training and conference centre has been officially opened in Edinburgh.

GTG Training, offering tuition to clients and students across transport, automotive, health & safety and business skills, has been in Edinburgh for over 20 years. They say their new, purpose-built premises will offer apprenticeship programmes, with initiatives that the training firm hope will get young people into work after training is complete.

With 3,000sqm² more than the previous site, the new centre means the firm can offer more training courses. The Edinburgh facility can also accommodate conferences or events and includes a workshop area and space for driver training, says GTG.

Carol Henry, Group HR Director of Arnold Clark and Director of GTG Training comments: “The opening of the new GTG Training and Conference Centre aims to bring greater education and learning opportunities to the Edinburgh area. It will bring work-relevant educational experiences for young people, and also give employers the chance to offer first class training to staff, improving workforce skills and encouraging professional development.”
