Kimberly-Clark Professional rebrands safety products
Kimberly-Clark Professional is to consolidate its industrial safety products portfolio under the Jackson Safety brand throughout Europe.
The move follows Kimberly-Clark Professional’s acquisition of Jackson Safety Products last year. The integration of the two businesses is aimed at establishing the Jackson Safety as the group’s global brand for its safety products. This means that all industrial safety products currently marketed under the Kleenguard brand will be rebranded as Jackson Safety products.
The transition of all products began in April and the company aims to complete the process by 2012. The firm has also redesigned the Jackson Safety brand logo as part this new strategy.
Kimberly-Clark Professional president, Jan Spencer, said: “Jackson Safety brings a wealth of strengths to Kimberly-Clark Professional, including an outstanding product portfolio and a highly experienced sales force. It enables us to focus resources more effectively by increasing sales and marketing manpower to support growth in safety, while at the same time deploying our other teams to help us sustain our leadership position in our traditional washroom and wiper businesses.”
