The latest addition to uvex’s hearing-protection range is the uvex xact-fit.
Ergonomically-designed stems and oval foam pods mimic the shape and contours of the ear canal, says uvex, making the fitting of the xact-fit hygienic and easy.
The protector is said to be suitable for noise environments below 100 decibels, or for people exposed to intermittent noise, or people moving in and out of noise areas. It is corded for increased security, and the replaceable pods increase the life of the product, adds uvex.
Also available is the uvex hi-com hearing protector, which is described as having the same shape as the ear canal, making it very comfortable. Its design not only reduces background noise but retains excellent speech recognition through increased surface contact between the plug and the ear canal, says uvex.
