Marigold Industrial has added two new gloves to its XRT™ mechanical glove range, the XRT™ MechaniX AV and the XRT™ Insulator.
Made from synthetic leather, the XRT™ MechaniX AV is said to help reduce the impact of vibration from heavy plant and equipment, as it features a palm insert that absorbs shocks and vibrations to the hands, and reinforced fabric on the fingers.
The MechaniX AV also boasts an EN388 rating of 2122, scoring well for resistance to abrasion, tearing and puncturing, says Marigold, which adds that it provides high flexibility and comfort, as well as a tight fit.
The XRT™ Insulator is designed specifically to keep workers’ hands warm and protected when undertaking tasks at temperatures as low as 30°C. The hi-visibility blaze orange XRT™ Insulator glove is described as ideal for use in cold stores, construction and general outdoor work, combining high comfort and flexibility with excellent abrasion resistance, good grip and good looks, says Marigold, which emphasises that it is a perfect alternative to traditional leather gloves. Both the XRT™ MechaniX AV and XRT™ Insulator are available in sizes 8, 9, 10 and 11.
