Hand protection – Showa Best Nitri-DEX 707

Described as bridging the gap between chemical-resistant and disposable gloves, the Showa Best Nitri-DEX® 707 from Globus provides a 100-per-cent nitrile glove manufactured using a low modulus formulation, giving exceptional comfort.

Available in flocked and unflocked versions, the Nitri-DEX 707 is said to give secure protection against oils, greases and fats to minimise cross-contamination risks in food-handling environments.

In addition to achieving ‘Food Safe’ certification, the glove complies with EN374-3 requirements for user protection against many chemical-based detergents, says Globus. This, adds the manufacturer, eliminates the need to change gloves when cleaning down a food-preparation area with aggressive cleaning solvents.

According to Globus, the glove offers the wearer high dexterity and comfort, even when worn over a cut-resistant liner, and the ‘tractor-tread’ finish on the palm and fingers gives the user strong grip, even in greasy conditions. To ensure waste is reduced, the glove is provided in left and right-hand packaging.

The Showa Best Nitri-DEX 707 is available to order in sizes small, medium, large and extra-large. Other sizes are available on request. For more information, visit www.globus.co.uk
