Hand protection – New range of gloves
Polyco has developed a series of hand-protection solutions for textile specialist Van Laere International, as part of its new Herock-brand range.
Herock is described as a new, full-concept workwear brand developed by Van Laere to offer all the PPE required by the professional worker under one brand, including workwear, footwear, handwear, high-viz and safety.
Polyco says Van Laere selected its Herock offering, as it wanted to work with a reliable partner in Europe with considerable experience in safety gloves.
Polyco is supplying 21 different gloves for the range, which is said to offer a high-quality collection at a competitive price, suitable for a wide variety of tasks.
Commented Laurent Van Laere: “Functionality is a priority for every professional in search of the right equipment. Herock’s goal is to supply experts and workmen with workwear that offers outstanding technical quality and superior suitability for use on the job.”
The Herock brand is being sold through a ‘store within a store’ concept, with units in DIY stores and professional merchants. There are currently 32 units installed, with an aim to reach 150 units in 2010 across the Benelux countries, and a number in northern France.
Said Sarah Bridge, deputy MD of Polyco: “We are delighted to be in partnership with Van Laere, delivering the best safety glove solutions for the Herock concept.” To find out more, visit www.polyco.co.uk
