Hand protection – Glove-licensing programme

The Würth Group in Germany is the latest partner to sign up to DSM Dyneema’s glove-licensing programme.

As a diverse international supplier of both domestic and industrial accessories – with products ranging from screws, fixtures and fittings to tools, electronics and automotive components – DSM Dyneema has been rapidly expanding its PPE ranges in recent years, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises.

Likely to find extensive use in the construction and metal industries, the company has introduced the new Cut Level 5 (CL5) glove featuring Dyneema®, described by the company itself as the world’s strongest fibre. According to the supplier, gloves made from Dyneema® represent the best in cut-resistance while being light and comfortable for the wearer.

In support of the new partnership and to ensure the success of the new product range, DSM Dyneema will be providing training, as well as product, trademark and branding support, for approximately 2800 Würth sales representatives in Germany.

“With Würth as a new partner in our glove-licensing programme, we are able to strengthen our coverage in various markets,” said Edwin Grootendorst, regional manager, DSM Dyneema. “Many small and medium-sized companies will now also be able to protect their workers’ hands with the Würth gloves made with Dyneema® – another significant step in our mission for higher safety and protection levels in a great variety of industries.”
