Hand protection – Arco
Arco have introduced the Arco Cut 5 Neoprene Gauntlet and Arco Cut 5 Reverse Liner Neoprene Gauntlet gloves.
According to Arco, the multi-functional gloves combine the latest technologies in mechanical, liquid and chemical protection with high cut and abrasion resistance, which produce gloves with a range of potential applications for use in hazardous environments.
The gloves are said to provide protection from both chemical and cut resistance, which makes them suitable for waste management and recycling as well as for oil and gas, chemical, manufacturing and industrial engineering industries.
The Arco Cut 5 Reverse Liner Neoprene Gauntlet are said to be ideal for working in an environment where the key hazard is cut/sharps with an additional risk of spill, chemical agents, oil, greases or liquid penetration.
If the predominant risk is chemical/fluid spill, but with a risk of cut, then the Arco Cut 5 Neoprene Gauntlet is said to provide a robust chemical barrier with a Neoprene outer shell while cut protection is offered with an inner liner.
Arco says the gloves conform to performance standards including EN 388:2004, EN 407:2004, EN 374:2003, EN 420:2003 and EN 421.
