Free risk management support through chambers of commerce

Cardinus Risk Management is offering free advice and services to small businesses.

Companies in Wessex will be first to benefit as Cardinus becomes a patron of the Wessex Association of Chambers of Commerce. The firm is also looking at the viability of rolling out similar services to other chambers across the country.

As part of the patronage, Wessex Association members will be provided with a dedicated risk management portal, which provides fee advice, guidance, templates, and an ‘ask the experts’ section. Each member will also receive a free voucher worth £100 to access to an array of online e-learning and risk assessment tools.

Cardinus chief executive, Andy Hawkes, said: “This is an exciting partnership for Cardinus as it coincides with the launch of our new on-line risk management portal, dedicated to small to mid-sized companies. Cardinus has built a leading position as a provider of health and safety, environment, fleet and property risk solutions in the UK and more recently in the US to large businesses, and central and local government and we felt the time was right to develop our solutions for smaller firms.”

Wessex Association of Chambers of Commerce CEO, Michael Williams MBE, added: “We are delighted that Cardinus has joined our impressive list of patrons and we look forward to working with them on a number of initiatives to help our members understand and manage risk within their businesses.”
