Eye protection – Cederroth eyewash
A new product designed to protect the workforce against eye injury has been launched.
Cederroth eyewash is specifically designed for high-risk applications where chemical splash or dust may contaminate the eye.
According to the manufacturer, the eyewash bottles have a unique bracket system that locks the bottle firmly in place until the user requires it.
Cederroth says that the bottles come with a unique eye cup that ensures the neutralising eyewash formula is focused where it is needed directly into the eye.
The eye cup has been designed to seal against the eye socket and provide a continuous flow of fluid to the eye for over 90 seconds.
Cederroth’s eyewash is available in large 500ml bottles and also a 235ml portable bottle, which is ideal for mobile workers. The manufacturer says that it has a long shelf-life — 4.5 years from the date of manufacture.
The product has, according to Cederroth, been tried and tested in a range of different workplaces.
