Arco girls bare all for charity
Safety product retailer Arco has launched a ‘calendar girls’ themed calendar, which features members of staff, to raise awareness for breast cancer.
Female employees from Arco branches across the country were invited to participate in the making of the Arco Calendar Girls calendar. In total 60 models came forward and posed in 12 tasteful photographs, which feature an array of props and safety products from the company.
The A3 calendars cost £7.99 and are available online and at all Arco branches. All the profits are being donated to the Jo Martin Cancer Care Trust, which was established in memory of Jo Martin, the company’s joint managing director, who died of breast cancer, aged 39, in February 2008.
The firm’s current joint managing directors, Thomas Martin (Jo’s cousin) and Nick Hildyard said: “The team have done a brilliant job putting this calendar together. It is a fantastic initiative to raise awareness of breast cancer and its treatment. The girls look great and we know that Jo would be proud of them.”
