Safety products retailer Arco held a ‘meet the experts’ day at the site of the London Olympic Village to allow customers to gain an insight into its latest products.
The event took place on 5 October at one of the headquarters of Arco customer, Fortman’s Fish Island, which is the closest corporate venue to the Olympic Stadium. Arco invited more than 200 southern-based customers to view the latest products from 22 of its key suppliers, which included CAT safety footwear, DEB, DeWalt, and UVEX.
The customers were given demonstrations on a variety of PPE products, workwear, and safety tools. They were then able to interact with safety experts from each vendor to see how the products could benefit their workforce.
Arco regional sales manager, Ian Martin, told SHP: “The day has been a huge success and gave our key suppliers the opportunity to show customers how our products can supply safety to their workforce.
“Arco’s main company objective is to keep people safe, and events like today provide a shop window for customers to give and receive ideas on how innovative products can be used in their workplace.”
