BSIF product innovation award shortlist announced
On 7th May a group of leading industry figures gathered in Birmingham to decide who would win the BSIF Product Innovation Awards. Entrants had the opportunity to personally present the key features and benefits of the products and to explain to the panel why their product should be an innovation award winner.
The Product Innovation Award finalists for 2015 were:

- Arco – Impact Glove
- Portwest – Araflame Coverall
- GVS Filter Technology – Elipse Integra
- Honeywell – Miller H Design Harness
- Honeywell – Skeleton Glove
- 3M – Organic Gas & Vapour Service Life Indicator Filters.
- Scott Safety – 379 Bar Cylinder
- Ejendals – Jalas System
- Uvex – CR Clean Room Eye Protection
The judging panel was made up of:

- John Cairns (Safety Groups UK)
- Mike Clayton (Health and Safety Executive)
- Frank Angear (GM BSIF)
- Henk Vanhoutte (European Safety Federation)
- Philip Baker (BPS Solutions)
- Mark Glover (Safety & Health Practitioner)
- Val Kealey ( Health & Safety Matters)
At a high profile reception on Tuesday 16th June at the Safety & Health Expo in London’s ExCel Centre, the Product Innovation Awards, Service and Safety Excellence Awards will all be announced.
