Here at NEBOSH, the phrase “preferred learning style” is something we hear a lot from potential learners, particularly – and rather interestingly – in relation to type of assessments that they may take at the end of a course. We say “interestingly” as qualification assessments are usually designed to assess, rather than deliver, learning so that people can ‘pass’ and gain their qualification.
