Health and safety benchmarking – Sheiiba
Health and safety benchmarking service Sheiiba says many companies have difficulty benchmarking accurately, especially where there is a diverse range of working activities and risks, as external comparisons are difficult unless individual workplace performance can be separately benchmarked against other companies with similar working environments. In response, the company has launched a ‘niche’ benchmarking service, designed to help companies get closer to true ‘like-withlike’ performance comparisons.
According to Sheiiba, the service allows users to benchmark whatever they like, so long as they use conventional indicators – for example, warehousing and logistics operations, retail branch networks, manual handling incidents, field/sales staff, and even accidents of a specific cause and type.
Sheiiba says the service benefits from its Show-to-See™ anonymity system, which allows users to choose whether or not to reveal their identity.
