Work environment monitoring – Testo Workplace Kit
Available from Testo, Workplace Kits enable employers to carry out effective ongoing monitoring of key parameters relating to: good ventilation – a supply of fresh, clean air coming in from outside, or via an internal ventilation system; a reasonable working temperature – usually between 13OC and 16OC for strenuous work; and lighting – suitable for the nature of work being carried out.
According to the company, the Standard Kit can help boost staff morale and improve efficiency. Contents include: a T535 CO2 monitor displaying actual and average CO2 levels, plus the option of on-site print-outs; a 317-3 CO2 detection monitor with headphones and belt/wrist attachments; a pocket-size 540 lux meter; a Testo 810 surface and ambient air thermometer; and an easily adjustable 815 sound level monitor.
The Advanced Kit also contains the 815 sound monitor, as well as featuring a 435-2 multi-function unit, and probes for indoor air quality, CO and lux. The products are said to meet all tested requirements and standards, and are backed by Testo’s calibration service.
