Training- Working at height e-learning course
In a move designed to introduce companies to the ease, convenience and benefits of e-learning, health and safety training provider RRC Training is offering a free ‘Working at Heights’ e-learning course — now available until 28 February.
According to the company, more than 2500 people have completed the course since it became available in November last year, and it puts this popularity down to the easy-to-use style of the course, which makes it ideal for self-managed induction training.
Consisting of videos, interactive animations and multiple-choice tests, it shows viewers what can go wrong when working at heights, and covers some typical precautions that can be applied to make it safer when using ladders and scaffolding.
Gary Fallaize, managing director at RRC, said: “The e-learning course is clear and fun to use and also offers individualised instruction, making it flexible. Individuals can either use the concise video induction as a five-minute refresher, or take an hour or two to explore issues in more detail.”
