Training – RRC Training courses for oil and gas sector

RRC Training is now offering the NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety.

Aimed at those with safety responsibilities in the oil and gas industry, including managers, supervisors and health and safety advisors, this competitively-priced course, says RRC, will enable effective management of operational risks and help ensure safety, both on and offshore.

The company adds that its flexible course covers international oil and gas standards and management systems, with topics including control of hazards and risks, hydrocarbon process safety, fire protection and emergency response, logistics and transport. The course may be studied face to face in a classroom environment in the UK, Bahrain and Dubai. Alternatively, it can be delivered in-company anywhere in the world, or studied by distance or e-learning, all with dedicated support from professional, qualified and experienced tutors. Exams can also be taken in the UK or worldwide to meet individual needs, adds RRC.

Managing director Gary Fallaize said: “The oil and gas industry has a fatality rate of 30 per 100,000 workers. Clearly, training to avoid accidents and fatalities is much needed in this perilous industry and this course goes a long way in helping to achieve this.”
