Training- Managing safely
Ricardo UK Ltd will host the four-day IOSH Managing Safely course at its Shoreham Technical Centre in Sussex from 27-30 July 2009.
The course is aimed at managers and supervisors required to manage safely and effectively in compliance with both their organisation’s policy and best practice in health and safety.
Ricardo UK adds that the aim of the course is to ensure that those employed as line managers appreciate safety requirements, and are able to review their own departmental systems for safety, introducing new controls, or implementing changes, as appropriate, to ensure safety in the workplace. Delegates that successfully complete the programme will be awarded an IOSH certificate.
Modules include risk assessment, risk control, common hazards, investigating accidents and incidents, measuring performance, and environmental protection.
The fee is £750 plus VAT per delegate and includes delegate packs, lunch and refreshments. To register interest in the course, or for further information, contact [email protected] or visit www.ricardo.com
