Training – Gas-equipment inspectors training courses
Spaces are still available on a number of Murex Welding Products’ 2010 City & Guilds-accredited gas-equipment inspectors training courses.
Murex says the courses provide qualifications that allow individuals to conduct full safety checks on oxy-fuel gas-welding systems. The two-day courses are conducted at the company’s Waltham Cross HQ and accommodation is provided.
The first part of the course covers theoretical instruction on oxy-fuel gas safety, the properties of gases, safe use and operation of systems. The second day is entirely devoted to practical training and “hands on” sessions to teach candidates how to fully test an oxy-fuel gas station and pass it off for safe use. One day recertification courses are also held in Birmingham and Glasgow.
Murex says anyone responsible for the safety of oxy-fuel gas systems, including safety officers, maintenance staff/supervisors or technical college and school lecturers, will benefit from attending a course. Places can be booked by calling 01992 659310 or e-mailing [email protected]
