A new qualification designed to reduce health and safety risks in beauty salons has been launched by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH).
Marianne Phillips, CIEH head of the awarding organisation, said: “We developed this new qualification for people working in the beauty industry, as they are regularly faced with wide-ranging health and safety risks – from slips and trips to hazardous chemicals.”
