Traffic barrier – A-Safe

A-Safe’s latest barrier installation has been completed at the Coca Cola manufacturing plant in Wakefield, where a range of segregation and protection has been installed.

The new external installation at Wakefield includes: a pedestrian barrier; traffic barrier (double rail); and bollards.
According to the firm, an A-Safe barrier will spring back into shape, thanks to its in-built memory. This greatly reduces the need for damage repairs, both to the barrier and to the vehicle itself.

Thanks to their modular construction, A-Safe products are said to be adaptable and easy to install, with no screws or welding involved. The initial outlay is more than outweighed by long-term cost savings with reduced maintenance and replacement, says the company.

The firm also points out that its yellow and black colour scheme enables both pedestrians and drivers to see at a glance where they should and shouldn’t be.

Products offered by A-Safe include traffic and pedestrian barriers, car-park barriers, bollards, rack-end barriers, handrails and access gates.
