Safety interlock- Salus
Castell Safety International Ltd has launched Salus, a trapped key-access interlock, which, the company says, is suitable for both sliding and hinged industrial doors.
Featuring a high-integrity locking mechanism, the Salus is said to offer the following benefits: reduced downtime via less maintenance being required on the lock; faster commissioning time; increased speed of access; and improved machine efficiency.
Features are reported to include an integrated lock cover; an ergonomic housing to reduce dirt traps; and, through the lock mechanism, the ability to close gates or doors even if they are misaligned.
