Online training directory – Workforce First Training

Workforce First Training (WFFT) says its primary aim is to put together those that provide training courses with those that need them.

The company says its website provides health and safety officers, training officers and HR managers with direct access to a growing range of health and safety-related training courses available throughout the industry, at the same time as offering a vehicle for training-course providers to promote their courses.

It points out that information is also provided about the quality of training providers and their courses, the types and regional availability of courses, and whether or not courses are mandatory, or just ‘best practice’.

Managing director Leila Kirk commented: “We launched this company/website as a result of experience gained in working with our sister company, Workforce First, for which we visit many companies to check that environmental conditions are safe for their workforces. In our dealings with these companies we were continually being asked (and still are) to indicate what types of training courses were appropriate and from whom. Although there was obviously a big demand for this information, there was clearly no one place for them to go. . .until now!”
