Memaplex safety barrier from A-SAFE

A-SAFE products installed at BMW warehouse, Northampton. 11.06.12 Picture by Roger MoodySafety barrier manufacturer A-SAFE has produced what it describes as a modular barrier system made from a patented plastic-rubber blend called Memaplex.

The company say it’s easy to install and, unlike steel barriers, flexes on impact when hit by a moving vehicle, springing back into shape and dissipating the force throughout the barrier. A-SAFE adds that the barrier transfers 20 per cent of the force to the floor, so floor damage isn’t an issue either.

A-SAFE also highlight that their barriers protect structures, personnel and machinery and can save money in terms of maintenance, replacement products and down time.

The company add that their products are used in warehouses, car parks, factories, airports and other workplaces worldwide.
