Lighting – ATEX LED Headtorch
Described as an ultra-small primary cell-powered head lamp with a high-power LED light source, the new ATEX LED Headtorch from Wolf Safety is said to be CE-marked to the 94/9/EC (ATEX Equipment) Directive for safe use in Zones 1 and 2 hazardous areas.
Wolf Safety says the headtorch has an LED light source with an output of up to 50 lumens, providing four hours duration at full brightness, and up to 25 hours total light duration, from three AAA alkaline primary cells.
Said to be robust, water and dust-tight to IP66, and made from a durable, chemical-resistant and electrostatic non-hazardous thermoplastic material, the headtorch can be tilted to angle the light.
