Fume and dust extraction – Down-draught bench
Aylesbury-based rapid proto-typing company, Graphite, which prints plastic parts – including consumer goods, car parts, aerospace components and high-temperature tooling – has invested in a down-draught bench from AirBench.
The product is helping the company contain the dust that is generated during the printing process – not only for the safety of its staff but also to keep the facility clean and tidy.
Graphite’s managing director, Kevin Lambourne said: “After considering many different solutions, we chose to invet with AirBench. With a plug-and-play installation, it means we can easily relocate the unit and add additional benches as we grow the business. Its quiet operation and knee space also means we can comfortably use it all day long. Business is doing well and we are so pleased with the product we’ll soon be ordering our third one.”
AirBench is described as one of the UK’s leading down-draught benches and, and is available in more than 200 variations.
