Sperian Protection says it can now, through its flagship Miller by Sperian brand, provide a complete fall-protection solution for the construction industry – from products through to training and equipment inspection.
It singles out its Söll Vi-Go system – a cable-based vertical-arrest safety system built on the company’s successful rail-based technology, Söll Glide-Loc, which is said to render vertical arrests of up to 200m safe. The system’s energy absorber is integrated into the fall-arrester, rather than the cable’s fixed supports, and is said to be quick to react in the event of a fall. Sperian adds that the Vi-Go bracket keeps the impact force levels in the event of a fall far below 6 KN.
Miller by Sperian now offers tailor-made safety at height training courses, which, it says, are taught by experienced instructors. The courses can be taken at its training centres, or on clients’ premises.
