Driver training – Peak Performance
Chesterfield-based business driver training specialist Peak Performance has introduced some new courses, aimed at professional LGV drivers needing to complete their mandatory Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) qualifications and those who ride motorcycles in the workplace.
Ten three-and-a-half-hour Driver CPC workshop-based courses accredited by JAUPT (Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training) are available throughout the UK. The company explains that, as they are modular, they can be completed individually over an extended period of time, or condensed into one week-long course in one go.
For business bikers, the five-hour Advanced Rider Training course can be conducted on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis and starts with an introductory briefing, followed by a practical on-road assessment. Individual objectives are then set for the coaching that follows.
