Driver training – Exlogs Safety

Remote-site driver-training specialist Exlogs Safety is introducing a new end-to-end assessment initiative designed to enhance road safety for organisations working around the globe by making it easier and more efficient to maintain employee competencies in defensive driving.

Exlogs Safety says it is introducing pre-training competency assessments for all candidates to ensure all training initiatives are fine-tuned, delivered only where there are identified skill deficiencies, and tailored to reflect individual need.

Project manager Margaret Stevenson says: “For many organisations that are leading the way with initiatives that minimise the risk of road-traffic incidents world-wide, a key strategy includes standardised defensive-driver skills updates for field staff every two years. That process can be made more effective through pre-training assessment, allowing better, more tailored support for those individuals who are less competent but also, where appropriate, enabling shorter, more effective solutions to be offered to others.”
