Driver training – Cardinus winter driving seminar
Colder, wetter weather and fewer hours of daylight will increase the levels of risk for drivers over the next few months, says Cardinus Risk Management, which has launched a Winter Driving Seminar to help raise awareness and prepare drivers for winter.
Able to cater for up to 25 delegates, this classroom-based interactive course can be held at any location in the UK and is designed to be both enjoyable and educational.
The company says the seminar will explore individual knowledge relating to driving in winter conditions, as well as illustrate the risks that people take on the roads. Drivers will learn how to read the changing conditions and adapt their driving behaviour accordingly.
Marcus Noble, managing director – fleet at Cardinus Risk Management, said: “Every year, we hear stories of drivers being caught out by bad weather conditions and accident figures going up during the winter months. But good preparation and increased awareness can reduce the likelihood of an accident considerably.
“Cardinus Winter Driving Seminars will provide that awareness and prepare drivers for the conditions they are going to face. Putting this advice into practice will save lives, save time and save money.”
