Infographic: World COPD Day
Today (16 November) is COPD Day. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is a group of lung conditions that cause breathing difficulties. The HSE estimates 15% of COPD can be attributed to workplace exposure. To mark this day, the British Safety Industry Federation has developed an infographic, providing information to employers and employees on mitigating the risks to prevent this long latency disease from developing in the first place. It also highlights the key figures surrounding COPD.
