According to Casella, their latest 63X series is ideal for monitoring environmental or occupational noise, and assists with the preparation of acoustic reports.
The digital sound level meter is said to have the latest digital technology with pre-configured setups for both occupational and environmental measurements.
Casella says the occupational noise measurement application simultaneously measures all workplace noise parameters as well as analysing the time history of noise levels.
The company goes on to say that the 63X series is designed to make workplace noise measurements as quick and as simple as possible, by simultaneously storing all measurement parameters so no incorrect measurements can be made.
An environmental noise monitoring kit is also available to protect the instrument and microphone from the weather, which Casella says allows unattended monitoring for up to 10 days.
Casella’s Insight Data Management software is said to provide analysis and reports from either workplace or environmental noise data. Casella says the data is easily downloaded from the 63X series and automatically saved. Once stored, the company says the data can be analysed and graphs zoomed in to look at specific times.
