Noise Measurement- Noise kit

Casella CEL has developed a Noise Kit with both a sound-level meter and noise dosimeter.

The CEL-620 is described as the world’s smallest, colour-screen, octave-band analyser, with a display that gives results on a clear, colour-coded screen. Simplicity of use was a key design objective for this instrument, adds Casella. It is said to be able to measure up to 140dB, without adjusting its range, and measures all occupational noise parameters simultaneously, without having to be reset.

The CEL-350 dBadge is described as small, rugged and reliable. It weighs in at a mere 68 grams and needs no microphone cable, so it can be simply worn and forgotten, says Casella.  It measures all occupational noise parameters, as well as the time history of an individual’s noise exposure throughout the day.

The Noise Kit comes in a rugged briefcase, which includes an acoustic calibrator, windshield, software and USB download cable.  Both instruments and calibrator are said to comply with the latest IEC Standards. To find out more call Casella on 01234 844100.
