Cirrus Environmental has launched the new EK:813C meter, which, it says, is the most reliable and cost-effective means of measuring noise levels.
The instrument is suitable for construction companies of all sizes and is designed to monitor noise levels over long or short periods.
The manufacturer states that that the device is easy to use, featuring only four buttons, which can all be preset so users don’t have to configure the meter.
The device is said to be able to operate overnight and can work effectively in any weather condition. It features a range of accessories, to protect the instrument and microphone from the elements. These include a windshield, acoustic calibrator, and a robust carrying case.
