Hearing protection – Casella noise-at-work kit
Representing a reported saving of up to £1400, a limited special offer on its noise-at-work kit has been announced by Casella CEL.
The kit, says Casella, helps the busy health and safety professional ensure compliance with the requirements of the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 and consists of: CEL-620 sound level meter; ‘insight’ software; CEL-350 dBadge noise dosimeter; and a second dosimeter free of charge.
The dosimeter is said to accurately measure all occupational noise parameters, and give the time history of an individual’s noise exposure throughout the day via a built-in graphic display. Casella adds that the ‘insight’ data management software allows both the CEL-620 and the dBadge to be downloaded to a single package, so that data can be analysed and reported by each person, process and location.
All kits include download cables, acoustic calibrator, executive kit case, and calibration certificates. The noise kit is said to be suitable for monitoring and recording occupational noise in a wide range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, chemical/petrochemical industries, and utilities.
For more information on the offer, which ends on 31 October 2010, visit www.casellameasurement.com or call 01234 841468.
