Environment- Noise monitoring terminal

The new 3639-A/B Terminal from Brüel & Kjær has been created specifically for unattended environmental noise monitoring.

The terminals operate as part of an environmental noise monitoring system for permanent, mobile, or semi-permanent observation, which can be controlled by a remote PC. The broadband and 1/3 octave information is recorded every half-second, then fed to the user’s computer, where they can view the results on the environmental noise management software.

B&K says the robust, weatherproof cabinet protects the terminal from weather, tampering, vandalism, or theft, so it can operate in any type of environment, and is suitable for recording noise from traffic and transport vehicles, aircrafts, cities, towns and industrial sites.
