The charity says it trains half a million people a year in courses ranging from HSE-approved first aid at work, to IOSH’s Managing safely. It adds that it is used to maintaining high standards and working to regulations and hopes the new accreditation will help secure future contracts.Peter Savage, managing director in charge of commercial training at the organisation, said: ‘We’re delighted that St John Ambulance has been awarded SAFEcontractor accreditation.
