Winner of the Logistics Services Award, and the overall Responsible Care Award, was W H Bowker Ltd. The firm demonstrated its commitment to health and safety through the use of new technology, which monitors the environmental impact of its fleet, and its in-house seminar programme on employee safety.The award for companies managing operational sites was won by Multisol Ltd. The company has continued to achieve international standards for health and safety and has shown its commitment to local schools through a sponsorship initiative.Finally, the ‘Office only’ category was won by Arpadis UK, which was praised for the way it manages its transport logistics, product safety and storage, through to its interaction with the local community.
