Well done- Medal for machinery safety trainer

Said Martin: “I feel honoured and privileged to have been considered for the award, but I am accepting it on behalf of the whole team at Pilz. I would not have been able to do it without their support and backup.”As well as presenting the C&G training courses in machinery safety, Martin also works hard to keep the course material up to date. Because the machinery safety standards change continually, the course has to evolve accordingly. Furthermore, Martin takes into account feedback from trainees and he also develops the course using his own ideas and those of colleagues.Steve Farrow, general manager of Pilz Automation Technology, was also presented with a certificate in recognition of the company’s role as Martin’s sponsor. Steve said: “Obviously everyone at Pilz is immensely proud of Martin, as the Medal for Excellence is a tremendous personal achievement. It is very well deserved and recognises Martin’s exceptional qualities as a trainer.”
