Well done- Certification hat-trick brings construction award

The company, which is a provider in the property refurbishment, new-build, repair and maintenance markets, has worked with BSI Management Systems over the last eight years, and has demonstrated commitment in business performance, business risk and business sustainability. In 2001 the company was awarded the quality management system standard, ISO 9001, for the provision of building contracting and maintenance service.Subsequently, the organisation has gone on to achieve the BS OHSAS 18001 health and safety management standard and the ISO 14001 environmental management standard. Its success in being approved to all three standards has now led to the achievement of a Considerate Constructors Award, a national accolade widely recognised by clients and construction bodies alike.Commenting on his company’s success, joint managing director, Chris Wright, said: “With industrial-relations issues, such as health and safety at work, rapidly escalating up the agenda, our certification to health and safety remains critical to our success. Everything, such as quality and profitability, falls off it. Essentially, it’s about minimising risks and changing culture.”
