Top mark for EEF training delegate
A delegate on an EEF Training safety course has achieved the highest mark in the NEBOSH health and safety diploma.
Lisa Pearson from Hallmark Cards had attained the NEBOSH Diploma part 1 and wanted to gain the full NEBOSH Diploma. She signed up to EEF Training’s conversion programme and achieved 89 percent in the NEBOSH Diploma Unit C. This was the highest mark for an examination that was entered by more than 2000 students from all over the world in 2009/2010. €ᄄ €ᄄ
Lisa collected the Jim Hammer Award for the best Unit C student at the NEBOSH awards, which were held in June at Warwick University. Commenting on her award, she said: “EEF tutors bring training sessions alive with expert industry knowledge and practical examples. Together with dedicated study and the fantastic learning environment I got the results I wanted.”
EEF Training HSCE leader, Chris Newson, added: “This result reflects the extent not just of EEF’s professional expertise in the field of health and safety, but the extent to which we address the needs of each of our customers precisely. Our record of success ensures that specific requirements for training continue to be met and, where possible, exceeded.”
