Safety industry- HSSA holds AGM
The Association’s chairman reported that 2008 had been a challenging year due to an increased workload on members, changes in technical standards, importance of energy conservation, and environmental impact.It was also revealed that the HSSA has invested over £12,000 in the development of free teaching materials for schools. The funds will provide aid for every key stage level and the materials cover the convention of colour, the geometric shape and graphic symbols of safety signs, which aims at making the workplace and public spaces a safer environment for all occupants.
