Polyco Group and HPC Group announce merger
Polyco Group and HPC Group have completed a deal to merge the two businesses, it has been announced.
HPC, which supplies disposable gloves and workwear among aother things, has had a trading relationship with Polyco for over 30 years.
The two companies were in a joint-venture called PH Medisavers to supply the NHS as recently as 2012.
Mark Holdway, executive chairman, Polyco, explained: “For all our suppliers, this will mean a stronger, more competitive business partner that will be able to provide you with more opportunities for growth.”
Polyco Group and HPC Group will continue to trade as separate entities, but the new holding company for all the businesses will be known as Polyco Healthline.
“Where we share common supply partners we will be looking to promptly explore ways to harmonise our buying arrangements and review purchasing where there is no current commonality,” explains Mark.
“This is the start of a long journey as we combine our businesses. For now, there is no change to your interactions with any of the companies or how we operate together and your contacts will remain the same.”
