Police service- APHSA visit HSL
The trip was used as an opportunity for the police and health and safety advisors to see what the HSL undertakes, and it also gave the HSL a chance to ask the visiting party what it might need from the lab in the future.
The group was shown ongoing work, which included trailer loading and transport accidents. They also visited the HSL’s anechoic chamber, vibration testing rigs, and PPE and ergonomics labs. The day ended with a presentation on noise assessments, which heavily focussed around firearms.
