ODA receives Diamond Jubilee Award
The Olympic Delivery Authority has won another major honour for its health and safety achievements during the construction of venues for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The ODA recently received a Diamond Jubilee Award for its aspiration to inspire good health and safety practices as part of the Olympics’ Learning Legacy initiative. It was presented with the award by a delegation from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), of which the Queen is patron.
To mark the successful completion of all the venues the ODA has produced a video to highlight its health and safety achievements during the construction phase of the Games. It hopes this will inspire others to drive safety improvements and occupational health developments in their workplace.
