Occupational-health support for construction sector
Constructing Better Health (CBH) has launched its new website, providing occupational-health advice and information for the construction industry.
The website, which has been redesigned to be more informative, engaging and easier to use, has dedicated areas to support each of CBH’s member groups.
The revamped members’ area for occupational-health service providers (OHSPs) now offers access to a full membership pack, providing a range of information including the benefits of CBH accreditation, industry standard guidelines, health surveillance forms, and help on explaining OH benefits effectively to employers and employees. OHSPs will also find guidance on accessing and managing clinical data using the CBH national database.€ᄄ
Michelle Aldous, chief executive of CBH, said: “It is our aim to open the gateway to accessible occupational health for the industry. For any OHSP who wants to commit to a higher standard of practice through accreditation, we have redesigned our website to be a complementary support tool to help them achieve this.”€ᄄ
Further supporting information can be obtained from a new online shop, which, CBH says, offers secure purchasing.
The new website is at www.constructingbetterhealth.co.uk
