Movers and shakers – Rebrand for motoring organisation

The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has announced the merger of its two occupational driver-training businesses, IAM Fleet and Drive & Survive, to trade under the new name IAM Drive & Survive.
According to the organisation, the merger will ensure that resources are more effectively channelled into offering one, comprehensive product range that reflects the benefits of both companies.
Driver risk-management services offered by the new company include courses such as ecolution, IAM Drive & Survive’s fuel-saving and CO2 emission-reducing course, skid control, and parking – a particular concern to businesses, as statistics show that low-speed incidents result in substantial costs to fleet operations.
Newly-appointed IAM chief executive Simon Best said: “In the past six months IAM and its commercial divisions have undergone a lot of positive change. IAM Drive & Survive offers a comprehensive range of driver risk-assessment and driver-training products, with both online and on-road driver training modules.”
