Movers and shakers – Draeger opens new service centre

Safety technology provider Draeger has opened a dedicated service centre in Aberdeen, which offers training and workshop facilities for the oil and gas industries.

The facility offers training that recognises the difficulties faced by those working both on and offshore. The courses include MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training), HS2 awareness and working with Benzene. Training on the use, care and maintenance of breathing apparatus and gas detection equipment is also available. The site also offers direct access to Draeger products.

The state-of-the-art service workshop facilities is said to offer cost-effective and time-efficient maintenance of breathing apparatus, personal escape systems and gas detection equipment. In addition, the service centre is able to support shutdowns and turnarounds by offering direct access to the full range of Draeger respiratory and gas detection products for short or long-term use.
